The Cockalier is a hybrid of an English Cocker Spaniel and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
The Cockalier is a hybrid of an English Cocker Spaniel and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel which are both an affectionate and loving breed. They have a
strong desire to please their family, are very social with other people and pets, have an easy going, friendly and gentle temperament.
They are a companion dog and suit singles, couples, or families with children and get along with other pets. The two Spaniel breeds complement each other well, producing quick learning, down-to-earth marvellous pups.
Cockaliers are placid and a wonderful companion dog, they enjoy outings and
walks with moderate exercise, therefore a walk a day is required.
As Cockaliers shed their hair naturally they do not need frequent clipping. To
prevent their luscious coats from becoming tangled weekly brushing is recommended.
As this breed has long floppy ears, they are prone to ear infections. Regular checking and cleaning should be done to reduce ear problems.
